- Lexmark’s Perceptive Software announces that EllisDon, an Ontario-based provider of construction and project management services, has selected Perceptive Capture for the automation of accounts payable documents, including more than 400,000 invoices annually, as the company pursues implementation of a Gate Three ERP system across the enterprise.
- Initially, Perceptive Capture will be used for extraction of non-purchase order-based invoices, minimizing the need for manual data entry and enabling rapid routing of invoice data for approval by the appropriate parties. As EllisDon’s ERP project matures, there will be a greater emphasis on PO-based invoices, whereby Perceptive Capture will support touchless processing of data, from receipt to post.
- EllisDon cited the software’s capabilities for effective exception handling, high rates of accurate extraction, effective interactions with a myriad of content repositories, and EllisDon’s ability to maintain the system using internal IT resources as being key to the company’s decision to select Perceptive Capture.
